Course Description

The aim of the course is to give students, based on the knowledge they have acquired on the physiological functions of plants, the ability to distinguish between various factors of crop stress (adverse biotic and abiotic soil and climate factors) and finally the ability to deal with the specific factor that causes the damage. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to understand the impact of stress factors on plant functions, to understand the response of the plant to various abiotic stresses and to distinguish, based on the appearance of symptoms, the factor causing the damage as well as to evaluate the cause of the damage and suggest ways to solve the problem.
